What's new

A dated record of changes to Save My Prompts, newest first: what shipped, what changed for you, and where to find the instructions. Only changes you can use today, never plans.

Collaborators, Connect your AI and the launch offer

  • Sharing a board with people is now called adding collaborators, with an Add collaborators dialog on the board.
  • The page about using your prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Cursor is called Connect your AI in the menus.
  • The Pro card on the pricing page and the home page shows the launch offer in India: ₹299 for the first year instead of ₹699, for Pro yearly bought from 20 October to 19 November 2026.
  • A new home page picture: a saved prompt with its blank filled in, next to the extension's side panel.

Team plans and Pro yearly in India

  • Team is on the pricing page: Team 5 and Team 10 give everyone on the team Pro and a shared prompt library. On sale in India from 20 October.
  • Pro yearly in India is now ₹699, about 41% less than paying monthly.

Your prompts in AI apps, and Microsoft Edge

  • A new page about using your prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code and Cursor, at savemyprompts.net/app.
  • Save My Prompts is in Microsoft Edge Add-ons. On Edge, the site's button says “Add to Edge” and goes straight to it.

Trash, version history, CSV export and the Free plan's limits

  • Download your library as a CSV file from Account settings, next to the JSON backup.
  • The CSV has one row per prompt (title, text, tags, category, favourite, use counts and dates) and opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Trash: prompts you delete stay for 30 days, and you can restore them from Trash in the sidebar.
  • Version history: open a prompt and choose History to see earlier versions and restore one.
  • Select several prompts at once (Shift selects a range) to add a tag, add them to a board or delete them.
  • A warning when you save a prompt that's nearly the same as one you already have, with Open it and Save anyway.
  • Change your name in Account settings, and see your invoices on the Plan page.
  • Keyboard shortcuts in your library: / to search, arrow keys to move between prompts, Enter to open one.
  • Big libraries load faster, and changes you make in the extension show up when you come back to the tab.
  • The Free plan's limits are on: 50 prompts, 2 private boards and 20 improvements a month in AI apps. Sharing a board with collaborators, by link or publicly, is now part of Pro.

Extension 1.1 and a new pricing page

  • Extension 1.1 is in the Chrome Web Store: it works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
  • As you type in the chat box, the extension can suggest one of your saved prompts that fits.
  • An optional floating Save button for text you select on any page. It stays off until you switch it on in the extension's Settings.
  • Pricing page redesigned: a Monthly and Yearly switch, a table comparing every feature, and Teams marked as coming soon.
  • Prices in US dollars at /us/pricing and in rupees at /in/pricing.
  • No more waitlist: the extension buttons across the site go straight to the Chrome Web Store.

A new look, and prices in your currency

  • A new look for the home page and the public pages.
  • Prices follow your country: rupees in India, US dollars everywhere else.
  • Set tags and a category when you save a prompt, and change them when you edit it.
  • A Report a problem button on every page: tell us what went wrong without leaving the page.
  • A welcome email when you join, and a cleaner design for every email we send.

The extension in the Chrome Web Store

  • Save My Prompts for Chrome is public in the Chrome Web Store, and the site's buttons now say “Add to Chrome”.
  • Invite collaborators to a private board by email or with a join link (part of Pro since 14 October).
  • Download a JSON backup of your library, boards included, from Account settings.
  • A Start here guide in Help: your first ten minutes with Save My Prompts.
  • Your library search is kept in the address, so a refresh or a bookmark keeps it.

Your library on the website

  • Sign in and sign up on the website, with Google or with email.
  • When you're signed in, the home page is your library, with search and paste to save.
  • Filter your library by category, tag, favourites and more, and sort it by recent use, newest, most used or A to Z.
  • Private boards: group prompts in order, add notes, and copy a whole board at once.
  • See the AI apps connected to your account in Account settings, and disconnect any of them.

How to read these notes

  • Each date is the day a change went live for everyone, on the website, in the extension or in the AI apps.
  • An entry is something new, a change to a feature you already have, or a problem we fixed.
  • Features that aren't available yet aren't listed, and we don't promise dates here.
